Services for Mrs. Ella Margaret Christian, 85, Emmett, who died in an Emmett nursing home Sunday after a long illness were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Beatty Chapel by Bishop Charles Carroll of the Emmett Second Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Beatty Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Born May 6, 1883, in Troy Pike, Ala., she moved to Colorado with her parents. ln 1936 she moved to Spokane and was married there to Lafayette Christian on Sept. 16, 1944. He died Jan. 31, 1958. She was a member of the LDS church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs.Louis Mallory of Bronson, Mo., and several nieces and nephews, among them Mrs. Alvin Buck and Leonard and Merle Hutchins, all of Emmett.
