George E. McKenney

Services for George E. McKenney, 65, of Boise, who died Sunday evening in a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Summers Chapel, with the Rev. Stacy Richards, Wright Community Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Joplin Cemetery.
He was born in Cortez, Nev., on May. 3, 1903. His family moved to Pearl, Idaho, when he was three months old, and he had lived in this area all his life.
He married Myrtle Milliken at Vale on Aug. 30, 1941. He was a mining superintendent. He was a member of the Wright Community Church and of the Idaho Outdoor Association.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Myrtle McKenney; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Janet Belles; a brother, John A. McKenney, all of Boise; and three grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Trever Baugh, Paul Bright, Lou Clapp, Willis Brassey, Hubert Martin and Elton Thornton. Honorary pallbearers Will be John Flack, Ralph Otto, Joe Burkhart, Otto Schmidt, Reuben Carley, Forest McGlochlin, Chick Little, 0. J. Barton, Jack French and Dick Belcher.
George was the son of John B. McKenney and Mabel MacAskill McKenney.
