Orvid Gross
(1921 - 1995)
Orvid Gross, 74, of Caldwell passed away at Cascade Care Center, November 10, 1995, after a long battle with cancer. Graveside services were held Monday at 3:00pm at the Emmett Cemetary with Dr. Scott Allen officiating.
Orvid was born July 21, 1921, in Boise, Idaho, to Gustav and Annie Cramer Gross. He lived with his parents on their ranch above Ola, on Squaw Creek, then in 1926, they moved to a ranch west of Emmett. He lived there with his mother until her death in 1952. In 1964 he moved to the Oasis Shelter home north of Caldwell, where he resided until he went into the Cascade Care center May 22, 1995. He was a long time member of the Emmett Methodist Church.
He is survived by a sister-in-law and many neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters and four brothers.
