Tom Gribble Dies After Long Illness
1892 -1955
Thomas William Gribble, 63, of Emmett, a lifetime resident of Idaho, died Wednesday afternoon in his home west of here after a long illness.
Mr. Gribble was born April 29, 1892, in Boise. He was married Oct. 5, 1913, in Boise to Pearl Grace Marcom. He owned and operated Tom's cabin, west of Emmett.
He was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Gribble are a son, Donald E. Gribble of Boise; two daughters, Mrs. William Cox, Montour and Mrs.
Geoge Pulley of Emmett; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Gribble of Nyssa; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Hoalst of Grandview, Mrs. Frances Bates of Nyssa and Mrs. Jennie Eichelberger of San Jose, Calif., and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at Beatty chapel Saturday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Kenneth Briggs will officiate and interment will be at Morris Hill in Boise.
