Peter Parlo (1881 - 1953)

Peter Parlo, age 72, died Saturday at his home at Roystone Hot Springs after a long illness. Interment was at Cloverdale in Boise with Lodge No. 1, AF & AM officiating. Mr. Parlo was born August 25, 1881 at Tripolis, Greece. He came to U.S. in 1897, living in Chicago for three years. He moved to Kemmerer, Wyo, and then to Boise in 1923. He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad in both Wyo. & Boise until his retirement in 1943. In 1948 he moved to Montour where he managed the Roystone Hot Springs.

He was a member of Boise Lodge No. I, AF & AM. He married Margaret Driscoll in Boise on Oct. 18, 1941.

Survivors include his wife, two brothers, James of Oakland, and Gus of Baltimore and a sister Katherine, Aikaterium, Greece.
