Janie A. Kimball

(1897 - 1990)

EMMETT -- Janie A. Kimball, 92, of Emmett, died Saturday, April 7, 1990, in an Emmett nursing home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at the Potter Funeral Chapel. Pastor Tim Moen of the New Life Christian Center, Emmett, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Emmett Cemetery.

Mrs. Kimball was born Sept. 10, 1897, at Gross, Idaho. She married William Wallace Kimball on Dec. 25, 1915. at Gross where they homesteaded. They moved to Emmett where they farmed. She worked for Ore-Ida, retiring in 1967. Mr. Kimball died Jan. 22, 1972.

She was a member of the Four- square Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Marjorie Gafford of Emmett and Jean Richey of Columbus, Miss.; four sons, Robert of Los Angeles, and Earl, Don and Larry Kimball, all of Emmett; a brother, Orvid Gross of Caldwell; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a great-great- grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Heide Ann McKay Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Meridian High School.
