William J. Gross Dies Tuesday, Services Friday

(1899 - 1976)

Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Beatty-Potter chapel for William J. Gross, 76, Emmett, who died Tuesday after a long illness. Rev. Ron Neumann of the Foursquare church will officiate and interment will follow in the Emmett cemetery. Born June 13, 1899, at Ola, he farmed in Gem and Payette counties until moving to Boise in 1960. He was employed by Triangle Dairy until his retirement in 1964, when he moved to Emmett. He since had resided here.

He was a member Of the Foursquare church. He was married to Alice Wyatt at Vale, Sept. 4, 1924.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, John Gross of Emmett; three sisters, Josie Granger of Caldwell, Janie Kimbball and Hester Woody, both of Emmett; four brothers, Gustav of Pueblo, Marvin of El Paso, Frank and Orvid, both of New Plymouth; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
