Francis D. Cramer (1929 - 2000)

Francis D. Cramer, 71, of Emmett, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2000 at his home in Emmett.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2000 at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett. Interment, with military honors, will follow in the Emmett Cemetery.

Mr. Cramer was born July 22, 1929 at Emmett a son to LeRoy and Leah (Seavey) Cramer. He grew up on the family ranch near Ola. Shortly after WWII he joined the Navy. He was married to Florence Dillon on January 13, 1949. He served in the Navy until he retired in 1970 and they returned to Emmett. He worked at the Boise Cascade Mill and retired from there in 1987. His wife Florence died in 1988. He married Teresa Middlebrook on June 4, 1989.

He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish and hunt.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ivan and two sisters, Isabelle and Ruth.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa of Emmett; his step-daughter, Syliva Thompson of Emmett; four daughters, Sandra Curtis of Mead, WA, Carol Ward of Emmett, Ilene Deuprey of Colorado, and Carmen Nielsen of Marysville, Washington; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three brothers, Hans Cramer of Mt. Home, Idaho, Clarence Cramer and Owen Cramer both of Paisley, Oregon and numerous nieces and nephews.
